Eligibility
The Bardwell Scholarship Program is seeking serious, goal orientated students who meet the following criterion:
- be a minimum of 18 years old
- be working toward the first college degree
- be a high school graduate or its equivalent and qualify for college level work
- have completed at least one term of college with the most recent term posting a GPA of 2.5 or more
- be a resident of Chicago and qualify for in district tuition at City Colleges
- be willing to assess goals each semester
- show need and ability to benefit from additional financial support
- be willing to work cooperatively in a mentoring situation
- maintain a cumulative GPA for graduation of 2.5 or better
